Russian Blues take about as long as any cat to reach full maturity, with their sexual maturity normally happening quite quickly. This means that if you aren’t planning on breeding your cat, you should get them sprayed or neutered relatively early.

Russian Blues have an average life expectancy of around 10-15 years, and most of the time you won’t see them having too many problems as they tend to have no genetic problems or are prone to illness.
